Ellevate is a women-in-business, and women business owners, network of over 200,000 women members and subscribers worldwide, in New York, Chicago, Charlotte, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Boston, Austin, Los Angeles and throughout 24 US cities, as well as internationally.
1/16/2020 to present Joined the “Private Directors Association” Chicago Chapter 2018, an association of businesses seeking to fill board seats and persons seeking board of director seats. In 2020 to present, actively participate on the “General Programming Committee” and “Early Stage Companies Committee”.
3/30/2018 to present Appointed to the Advisory Board of Hub88, Inc. Served on the “Programs Committee” for the year 2020. Hub88 is a technology incubator, accelerator, entrepreneurial center in Naperville, IL. Technology, engineering, robotics, 5G Communications, and mechanical sciences. 30-Member Advisory Board supporting a 7-Member Board of Directors (Kenn Miller, Phil Hoffman phil@thestartupmag.com , Martha Carney, Matt OSullivan, Mark Hinch, Annette Kenny. July 2019 to Dec 2019 — Appointed & elected by the leadership committee as Chair of the Business Law Section of the DuPage County Bar Association 2019. To act as interim replacement for an unexpectedly withdrawing Chair. Served until new Chair was appointed by general DCBA leadership.
2/2018 to 7/2018 Served on the Founding Circle as a temporary Advisory Board Member of Brazen Women, Chicago. Brazen is a mentoring, educational and networking group for scale-up and growth-stage women-owned-and-operated businesses in the Chicago area. I served as west suburban outreach & programming person, made introductions in west suburbs, and planned & staffed the launch educational event in La Grange (west).
